We are delighted to announce that the practice has commenced the roll-out of the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme for all our patients in the over 70s age cohort.
Over the next few weeks each patient registered with the practice over the age of 70 will be contacted by a member of our Administration Staff or Practice Nurse to arrange your Covid-19 Vaccination appointment. The process will start with those patients aged 85 years and older and then work sequentially through the other age groups 80-84, 75-79 and 70-74.
All our patients in this age cohort will be vaccinated at a GP run Dublin vaccination clinic located in the HELIX , DUBLIN CITY UNIVERSITY (DCU).
Dr Hastings will be working at the clinics but may not necessarily vaccinate his own patients.
THE CLINICS WILL TAKE PLACE ON A SATURDAY
THE CLINICS WILL BE RUN BY GPs, PRACTICE NURSES AND GP PRACTICE ADMINISTRATION STAFF
The vaccines that will be administered will be mRNA Vaccines – the Pfizer BioNtech Vaccine or the Moderna Vaccine depending on supplies available. Two doses will be required with the 2nd dose administered 28 Days/1 Month after 1st dose.
