Childhood Immunisation
At Sandyford General Medical Practice, we offer a comprehensive childhood vaccination service. The primary immunisation programme is a FREE service for all children.
Vaccinations are carried out by the Practice Nurse, Niamh Corrigan. Appointments can be made with her each Wednesday, Thursday or Friday from 9.15am to 12.15pm.
In addition to the HSE immunisation schedule we offer other childhood vaccines such as Chicken Pox and Meningitis B.
The Chicken Pox vaccine is given in two doses, 4-8 weeks apart.
For children born before 1st Oct 2016 the Meningitis B vaccine can be purchased privately.
